kentuck art night

Art Night is the first Thursday of each month and celebrates the opening of all exhibits in downtown Northport galleries. Kentuck studio artists will host their monthly Open Studios for visitors to see works in progress, meet the artists and see the workspaces where the artists apply materials, design, technique and equipment to the creative process.

Book Discussions at the Tuscaloosa Public LIBRARy 

Getting together with others to discuss and enjoy books is a great way to get to know people with similar reading interests, and the fresh ideas others have can help enrich one’s experience of a book. The group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the History Room. Books are available at the Adult Services Desk. For more information call the Adult Services desk at 345-5820.

 

Cinema Nouveau

Hosted in the atmospheric Bama Theatre, showtimes are weeknights and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2pm (unless noted). Admission is $7 general, $6 seniors and students, and $5 for Arts Council members. Tickets will be on sale at the Bama box office approximately one half hour before showtime. Call 758-5195 for more information.
