ENTRIES ACCEPTED NOVEMBER 16-20 FOR 2016 STATEWIDE DOUBLE EXPOSURE PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT
The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa will present the 13th Annual Double Exposure Juried Photography Exhibit at the Bama Theatre and Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center in 2016. The competition will be open to Ala. photographers with divisions for both adults (Ages 18 and older) and juniors (Ages 12-17).

Harrison Galleries, 2315 University Blvd., Tuscaloosa, is the sponsor.

The Adult Division will be on display at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center Jan. 25-Feb. 26, 2016 in The Arts Council Gallery and will feature an opening reception and presentation of awards on Feb. 5 from 5 p.m.-8p.m. The Junior Division portion of the competition will be exhibited at the Bama Theatre galleries Jan. 25-Feb. 21, 2016 with the awards presentation and closing reception on Feb. 21 from 2 p.m.-3 p.m.

Both Junior and Adult entries for the first round of judging (on CD) will be accepted Nov. 16-20, 2015 by mail or hand delivery. A fee of $35 will be charged to enter three images in the Adult Division. Two additional images may be submitted (for a maximum of five) for $5 per piece. A fee of $25 will be charged to enter three images in the Junior Division. Two additional images may be submitted (for a maximum of five) for $5 per piece. No entry fees will be refunded. All photographic media will be accepted.

Awards in the Adult Division will be a $500 Purchase Award for Best of Show plus four $250 cash awards. The Purchase Award winner will be invited to present a solo exhibit in an Arts Council gallery at a later date.

Junior Division awards include a $250 cash award for Best of Show plus four $125 cash awards.

Gallery hours are Mon.-Fri. from 9 a.m.-noon & 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
